About The Role:

Crowded is looking for a Senior Backend Developer, to join our development team and be responsible for delivering high-quality, user-friendly web applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including designers, back-end and front-end developers, and product managers to ensure seamless integration and delivery of exceptional digital experiences. Your technical expertise and passion for innovation will be crucial in driving the success of our development initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Lead architectural discussions and make informed decisions on technologies, frameworks, and tools.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and development methodologies.
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies, incorporating relevant innovations into the team's workflow.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the development workflow.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to more junior developers in your team.

Requirements:

• 5+ years as a software engineer
• Experience with modern technologies and frameworks like Node.js, NestJS, SQL, Micro services
• Experience developing with TypeScript
• Strong understanding of Agile development principles
• Excellent communication skills
• Advantage: Knowledge of retail banking, especially banking as a service and neobanks
• Full-time availability
