This role partners closely with stakeholders across Professional Services, Product, and Engineering to design dashboards, reporting models, and data visualizations. Responsibilities Include - Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations that enable clients and internal stakeholders to make informed supply chain risk management decisions.
- Design, build, and maintain reporting data models and semantic layers to support scalable analytics and reporting solutions.
- Write, optimize, and maintain performant SQL queries across relational and NoSQL data sources, including PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
- Translate stakeholder reporting requirements into intuitive and actionable dashboards and reporting outputs.
- Create and maintain reporting solutions within Looker and support future business intelligence platform transitions as needed.
- Aggregate, validate, and analyze data from multiple systems to ensure reporting accuracy and consistency.
- Automate recurring reporting processes and improve reporting efficiency using scripting languages such as Python or Node.js.
- Deliver Excel-based reporting outputs and automate refresh processes using ODBC connections where appropriate.
- Identify, investigate, and assist in resolving data integrity and reporting issues proactively.
- Maintain high standards for reporting accuracy, dashboard usability, and query efficiency across analytics deliverables.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to improve reporting quality, data accessibility, and analytics capabilities.
- Communicate reporting logic, analytical findings, and technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Prioritize and manage multiple reporting requests and deadlines with minimal supervision in a remote work environment.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve dashboard usability, reporting automation, and stakeholder adoption.
- Independently leverage AI-enabled tools and prompt refinement techniques to improve efficiency, reporting quality, analysis, and documentation workflows.
Minimum Qualifications - 3+ years of experience developing dashboards and reporting solutions using business intelligence platforms such as Looker, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Strong experience designing reporting data models and writing complex SQL queries.
- Experience optimizing SQL query performance and troubleshooting reporting efficiency issues.
- Experience working with PostgreSQL and MongoDB databases.
- Experience using Python, Node.js, or similar scripting languages for reporting automation or dataset manipulation.
- Experience translating business requirements into scalable reporting and visualization solutions.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts, reporting logic, and analytical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage priorities and work independently in a remote environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to reporting accuracy and data quality.
- Availability to work primarily during East Coast business hours.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance (required).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills - Advanced experience with Looker and LookML.
- Experience supporting business intelligence platform migrations or reporting tool transitions.
- Experience using Jira or similar project tracking tools.
- Experience improving reporting automation and operational reporting workflows.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities and stakeholder requests in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted productivity and analytics workflows.
- CompTIA Security+ certification or familiarity with cybersecurity and supply chain risk management concepts.
