Fortress FastLane Internship Program — 2027
Location: Orlando, FL — Remote
Compensation: $25/hour
Employment Type: Part-Time or Full-Time

What you can expect as a Fortress FastLane Intern at Fortress…
Fortress will be hiring interns in 2027 across multiple departments. We're looking for students interested in internships across Cybersecurity, Product, Marketing, HR, Finance, and Legal. Whether you're chasing your first internship or exploring where your degree can take you, this is your chance to see what mission-driven work looks like. FastLane interns are embedded in real teams, working on real problems, with real impact. This program is designed as a direct pipeline to full-time employment at Fortress, making it an exceptional opportunity for driven students ready to grow into the critical infrastructure protection and cybersecurity field.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Support team deliverables, commitments, and objectives within your assigned department
  • Collaborate with internal partners and cross-functional teams on meaningful projects
  • Develop professional skills through hands-on exposure to real client and business challenges
  • Communicate effectively and professionally within your team and with cross-functional partners
  • Demonstrate adaptability, initiative, and a growth mindset throughout the internship
  • Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Availability for paid internship in 2027 (part-time or full-time)
  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program
  • Basic AI proficiency, including the ability to use approved AI tools responsibly when permitted by Fortress policy
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new tools, teams, and workflows
  • Experience in, or aptitude for, a customer/client-facing environment
  • Strong curiosity, work ethic, and desire to learn
  • Ambition, drive, sharp vision, and a great attitude
Areas of Internship Interest:

We are accepting applications for internship interest across the following departments:
  • Cybersecurity — Supply chain risk analysis, threat intelligence, vendor control assessments, compliance
  • Product — Product management, solutions engineering, automation, customer value
  • Marketing — Brand, content, digital marketing, demand generation
  • Human Resources — Recruiting, people operations, HR compliance
  • Finance — FP&A, accounting, financial operations
  • Legal — Contracts, compliance, risk management
Preferred Skills:
  • Proven working experience or strong academic/internship exposure in your area of interest
  • Interest in national security, technology, or critical infrastructure protection
Education:
  • Currently a student pursuing a bachelor's or graduate degree in a related field required
