Medzoomer is an on-demand prescription delivery service platform. We’ve created an app that enables patients to have access to their medications from the convenience of their phone. The pharmacy space has not been optimized by today's standards, and with the use of our proprietary technology, Medzoomer will solve the medication adherence problem, ultimately improving patient outcomes and driving down the cost of health care. Thirty-seven percent of patients surveyed in a nationwide study communicated that they’ve left a prescription at a pharmacy due to the inconvenience of a pick-up. Thirty-five percent of primary patient non-adherence is due to patients not having time to travel to a pharmacy, not having access to reliable transportation, or simply forgetting to pick up their prescriptions. Ten percent of hospitalizations are avoidable due to patients failing to take medications or non-adherence, causing $260 billion in avoidable costs to the U.S. healthcare system annually.
