Remote PositionThe Account Executive will sell Pikmykid software directly to K12 education institutions & School Districts in the Western Region and will report to the VP of Sales. This position requires an experienced enterprise K12 account executive to join our team who has experience working in the edtech market calling into school district C-level stakeholders along with state-wide leaders.What You’ll Do- Take ownership of your territory and success; work independently- Hunt daily: prospect multiple district C-level leaders across multiple districts- Schedule meetings with C-suite; be in the field regularly- Sell Pikmykid to net-new K-12 education prospects at district level- Research state & district leadership to identify stakeholders and open opportunities- Territory plan, prospect, discovery, onsite travel, present face-to-face, discuss technical back-end and deliverables to large C-level committees; manage long sales cycles- Tailor messaging by product solution- Multi-thread deals across stakeholders to win- Navigate and sell complex enterprise deals while building deep relationships- Maintain touch points with customer districts and leverage relationships to grow net-new logos- Exceed sales quota quarterly and annually; maintain accurate pipeline and forecast- Maintain accurate records in Salesforce CRM; manage deals end-to-endWhat You’ll Need- Bachelor’s degree- 5–10+ years proven success in K-12 edtech/software sales to district C-level and state leaders- Track record of exceeding sales targets and managing pipeline- Proven self-starter hunter for net-new business; opener and closer- Excellent communicator with success closing large school districts- Characteristics: Driven, grit, resilient, competitive- Excited by turning cold calls into presentations and building relationships- Team player; open, transparent; shares best practices- Coachable, lifelong learner; open to new approaches- Achievement in selling and closing large enterprise software sales- Excellent written and presentation skills- Success selling to C-suite stakeholders- Understanding of K-12 safety is a plus- Experience with consultative or Challenger methodology- Ability to work independently with excellent time management- Goal-oriented and resilient; 50%+ travelAbout You- Independent, responsible, organized & creative- Thrives in fast-paced, rapidly changing environments- Collaborative, flexible, self-starter, self-motivated- Loves to win; passionate about education; consistent achiever- Relentless prospector; prioritizes and multitasks; receptive to coaching; team playerWhat We Offer- Competitive salary & commission structure- Medical & Dental Insurance Benefits, 401K- Winning is fun – come win with us!Apply by emailing support@pikmykid.com with your cover letter & resume.
