We are seeking an experienced Accounting Service Line Leader to join our team as a Part-Time Change Consultant. This is a critical advisory role where you will leverage your deep industry expertise to consult our accounting firm clients—from Partners to Firm Leadership—on developing and executing high-impact business development and growth plans.

Your primary focus will be on helping our clients realize the full potential of their client base by advising them on service line expansion, cross-selling best practices, and effective process refinement.Key Responsibilities

  • Client Consulting & Strategy: Serve as a trusted advisor to accounting firm Partners, Business Development, and C-Suite leaders on growth strategies, service line diversity, and client journey mapping.
  • Business Development Enablement: Consult on the revision and creation of new business development (BD) processes, helping firms establish KPIs and reporting structures to optimize their cross-selling efforts.
  • SaaS Platform Integration: Advise clients on how to best integrate our platform's insights—such as client similarity scoring, market triggers, and niche service models—into their daily workflow for maximum results.
  • Service Education: Provide subject matter expertise to client professionals to help them understand and confidently recommend services they may be less familiar with.
  • Deliver Training: Lead and participate in tailored onboarding, group training sessions, and 1:1 professional development for client senior teams.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in a leadership role within an Accounting or Professional Services firm (e.g., Service Line Leader, Practice Leader, Director of Growth, Partner).
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep, firsthand knowledge of accounting firm operations, service line offerings (e.g., Tax, Audit, Advisory, or specialized services like GHG/LCA and Assessments), and cross-selling challenges.
  • Business Acumen: Proven ability to develop, implement, and track organic growth and business development plans.
  • Consulting Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and consult effectively with executive-level stakeholders.
  • Technology Fluency: Comfortable discussing and advocating for the use of SaaS and data-driven platforms for firm-wide business development.
