PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands of the position may include standing, walking, lifting, and carrying objects, and performing various patient care activities. The Director of Nursing may be required to participate in physical activities as needed.
POSITION SUMMARY: The Director of Nursing (DON) will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of nursing services to children with special needs, ensuring compliance with PPEC regulations, implementing service policies and procedures, managing nursing personnel, and coordinating comprehensive patient care services. The role involves developing and implementing patient care plans in conjunction with physicians, fostering educational programs for patients and their families, as well as staff, and conducting an ongoing quality assurance program.
We cater to children ages 0-21 who require a nursing intervention due to physical needs. This is a rewarding role that allows for a direct impact on the lives of children who need special care. Currently, our hours of operation are 6 AM - 6 PM, Monday - Friday, with potential Saturday openings as need arises. Join our team and make a difference today!
